These programs include collaborative activities and games designed to build imagination, confidence and creative expression. Character work and story-telling activities built around a central theme will challenge students to think critically and creatively.
All YES camps are limited to 20 students – places will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Students will enjoy learning basic dramatic conventions such as role-playing, tableaux and stage blocking.
$75 (includes HST) for a student’s first PA Day of the school year

Originally from Orangeville, Ontario, Holli is a graduate from the Cambrian College Music Performance Program. Previous to joining the YES team, she served as musical director for the Sudbury Performance Group’s youth programs. In addition to leading our Musical Theatre Classes, Holli is also the Musical Director for our Young Company program.

STC offers a varied week of drama and arts including acting, music, movement and visual art. Scene and character work become part of the program as students prepare a final showcase for parents and friends at the end of the week.

TRINITY THIBEAULT | Instructor
Trinity is an actor and musician based in Sudbury. She trained at George Brown Theatre School in Toronto and Is now back home to immerse herself in this city’s vibrant arts scene. YES Theatre has been a creative home for her, with credits including Ride The Cyclone (Ocean), Romeo and Juliet (Benvolio), Here Comes the Sun: Music of The Beatles, and Peter Pan (Tinkerbell). Trinity is passionate about inspiring young artists and fostering a space for creativity and freedom. She is excited to bring her experience and energy to this year’s March Break camp!

YES Theatre is partnering with the YMCA to offer this year’s March Break Theatre Camp, the week of March 16-20.
Registration is now open for children ages 8 to 12, to a maximum enrolment of 30.
The first four days will be held at the YMCA, where the majority of the participants’ day will focus on YES Theatre’s drama-based programming, developed and/or led by instructor Blaine Thornton, with a swimming block each day. (Those students who choose not to participate in the swimming will be provided with alternate activity options.)
Friday’s activities will be held at the Sudbury Theatre Centre, ending in an informal recital presentation for family members.
Programming runs from 9 am to 4:30 pm each day – optional early drop-off begins as early as 7:30 pm, with optional after-care available until 6 pm.
The cost for the week will be $325 (plus applicable taxes).

Families will need to create an account on the portal before they can register for the program.
