Thousands of students attend productions at the Sudbury Theatre Centre each year, where they experience the best of professional theatre at Northern Ontario’s premier performance facility.
We offer a variety of programming suitable for elementary and secondary school audiences that will excite and engage students and educators alike. Each production tells a story that will resonate with children and/or youth – some also feature student actors, or adults playing youthful characters that your students will easily identify with.
All productions present opportunities for classroom discussion and lesson tie-ins, offering themes and content to match curriculum material and character education topics.
1939 – March/April 2024
Our production of 1939 opens during the March Break and runs through early April. Seats are still available for the school matinees on Friday March 22 and Friday April 5. (The matinees on Wednesday March 20 and Thursday March 28 are sold out.) Additional dates may be added depending on the number of requests received.
