Auditions for the Youth Ensemble of Annie, directed by Peter Hinton. Rehearsals and production will be throughout October, November & December 2025.

What to prepare?
We are looking for a maximum of 2 minutes of material. Please come prepared with a short monologue or poem and a short acapella song that best showcases your vocal range.

*Please note: We will be booking on a first come first serve basis. We will do our best to to accomodate conflicts but due to the number of applicants this may be difficult. Please be available for both dates as possible (Feb 17th and March 3rd – from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm). Each audition slot will be 5 minutes.
Upon confirmation of you audition we will send you your audition time and any other relevant information.
General Auditions/ Submissions for shows through our 2025 and 2026 Season programming. This includes musicals, plays and concerts. At this time are only looking for artists who are local to Northern Ontario. Non-local auditions will be released at a later date, please do not submit for this call if you are not local to Northern Ontario.
We encourage submissions from performers from all walks of life: actors, singers, clowns, dancers and more! We also encourage submissions from those interested in creative team, technical, stage management, musician and mentee roles.

YES Theatre is still accepting submissions for our 2024 Recommender Grants. The goal of these grants is to assist theatre creators to develop new work. This is a third-party recommender program. Using Nova, Ontario Art Council’s online grant application system, theatre creators apply to theatre companies designated as recommenders for the program (a maximum of five applications per year). These recommenders assess applications and submit grant recommendations to the Ontario Art Council.
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT is JANUARY 12th.
Grant amount is minimum $1000 – maximum $3000.
